The Tyres have been constructed using 2CT and 2CT+. 2CT successfully accomplishes two conflicting ideals - wear resistance in the centre of the tread, and grip on the Shoulders, providing total performance with longevity and grip.

This technology has derived from MotoGP, making it possible to use two distinct rubber compounds to achieve what was once thought impossible a combination of the best wet grip and best mileage. 2CT+ has a harder rubber underneath the softer rubber on the Shoulders to give better rigidity at lean, for more stability when cornering, especially under strong acceleration, providing total performance of stability, longevity and grip.

The Tyres have a Silica centre with Black Carbon Shoulder construction which provides the ever famous 2CT and 2CT+ technology throughout the tyre creating the ultimate balance in fantastic road and track performance. There is a sea-to-land ratio of 6.5%, the Power GP provides a large footprint that allows the rider to adapt well on the track while still using a road tyre. Slick zones have been included on the sidewalls, designed purely for track use, creating a solid, confident and empowering ride whilst in search for those elusive tenths of seconds.
