For one, they've balanced this wheel's 35mm-deep rim so that it offers the speed capacity of a much deeper rim yet retains the stability afforded to shallower rims. For another, asymmetric drilling on the rim keeps spoke tension balanced for improved overall performance. Plus, the rim's carbon fibre construction and 25mm width allows it to stay at a lower weight with improved ground contact to make climbs easier and improve overall ride smoothness.

This rear wheel uses a custom-made 3T alloy hub for maximum efficiency, plus Sapim CX-Ray spokes, resulting in a near-instant power transfer. Plus, the hub features tightly-sealed CeramicSpeed bearings which can last up to ten times longer than regular steel bearings, freeing you to go faster for longer without any signs of wear.
